You can use these questions as daily practice for answering PCAT questions or you can form your own full-length practice PCAT exam. This resource was good for reviewing and learning material that I hadn’t covered in class. When I was studying for the PCAT, I did not have a lot of biology knowledge because I was just taking my Anatomy and Physiology I and Biology II that semester. I used this resource mainly for the biological processes section of the test because it provided a lot of information about the different concepts in biology. You don’t have to use these exact resources or all of theses resources, but based off the research I did these were the most popular resources that other students used to prepare for the PCAT. While preparing for this exam, I used multiple resources in order to study in various ways. The Resources I Used to Prepare for the Exam I recommend looking at their website and the official PCAT website to learn more about the exam. Kaplan’s PCAT test prep does a great job at breaking down the type of material and the percentage of the material that will be tested on the exam. You are given one optional 15 minute break between the chemical processes and critical reading sections. There is a built-in calculator (standard, not graphing) for the biological processes, chemical processes, and quantitative reasoning sections and a periodic table for the chemical processes section. The entire exam is taken on a computer, but you are given a laminated notebook and a marker to use for scratch work.
